Who is Beanie??
Designer, musician, avid tennis player, theatre kid at heart.
A Lebanese-Canadian, and raised on a small island in the Middle East called Bahrain (you'd know this if you've watched F1), I am the eldest out of two kids. At school, I balanced my academics with the debate team at World Scholars Cup, along with tennis, boxing, guitar, and choir.
Leaving to Canada
One of the most challenging moments in my life was moving to Canada for university, I worked tirelessly on my portfolio and in high school which granted me early acceptance into OCAD University allowing me to pursue my career as a designer in Toronto.
Wth is UX Design?
I discovered UX design going into my last two years at university, having mainly focused on physical products. I found that I had a niche in digital product design and fell in love with the idea of creating systems, products and services that would create a positive and meaningful experience for the user. From there I decided to focus my capstone project, PAT, on this premise.
To everyone that has helped me on this journey, thank you. This is just the beginning, and I'm excited to see what is in store for the future.
